Also, remember that we are publishing on the internet. For this reason, keeping the work short (around 1000 words) is nice. Don't be discouraged from sending something longer, but remember this is the internet. Whatever that means.

Response time: We don't know. We like to read everything and then read it again, to really think about what you have taken so much time writing. We may respond the same day, or it might be three months or three years (no, not three years). We read everything, and will get back to you.

Keep in mind we often don't respond immediately in order to try and create cohesive issues.

When submitting multiples pieces of poetry, flash, or photography, please include all submissions within a single file. (For photos, you can send us a pdf file and if we accept them we will ask you to send us the .jpg images.)

Give us a 2-3 line biography. If you like a certain type of bear, this might be the place to mention it.
